How to Make a Santa’s Sleigh From Cardboard

When you’re looking for a fun and inexpensive way to celebrate the holidays, you can’t go wrong with a DIY Santa’s sleigh. A little imagination and a few cardboard boxes will make this project a win for all involved.

The first step in creating this sleigh is to draw the shape of the sleigh on thick cardboard. Once it’s drawn out, you can cut two copies of the sleigh outline.

Once you’ve cut out the sleigh, you can add details such as a Santa Claus, reindeer, and even a bag of presents in the back. These details will help your child create a unique and creative craft that they’ll love to have on display for the whole family to see!

You can also decorate your sleigh with stick-on gems and glitter glue to add even more bling. Then, you can use it to transport your gifts or even a Christmas tree!

Then, you can finish off your sleigh by adding a few Christmas lights to illuminate it and give it some oomph. You can find a few different types of LED lights at any store or you can buy some cheap bulbs online.

This project is a great way to keep your children entertained during the Christmas holidays and it can also be a nice gift for friends or family members. It’s easy to make and only takes a few minutes to put together.

If you have some unused cardboard box, you can make this fun sleigh for your children to play with on the snow. They’ll love imagining themselves gliding down the hill and dreaming of all the wonderful gifts they can bring home.

You’ll need: a box of cardboard, an exact-o knife, and paint or spray paint.

To begin, you’ll need a box of cardboard that measures approximately 3 feet tall and 2 feet wide. Using the exact-o knife, cut out two rectangles that are about half of the length of the box. You’ll need to cut one of these out on each side of the box, overlapping by about an inch.

After you’ve cut out the squares, you can glue them to the front and back of the sleigh. You can also use a strip of cardboard to help you hold the squares in place and keep them from slipping.

Another option is to use strips of cardboard that are about a quarter of an inch thick and have rounded edges. This will prevent the sleigh from catching in the snow and will also be less bulky so that it can be more easily pulled along the ground.

Once you’ve finished your sleigh, you can also cut out a few pieces of tissue paper for Santa to throw his bag of presents in the back. This will make a fantastic addition to your Santa’s sleigh and it’ll make a fun and inexpensive gift for the kids to hang on the tree!

If you’re looking for something a little more sophisticated, you can even try making a DIY Santa’s sleigh from a box of tissues or crackers. You can add some batting for the snow and some cute decorations such as reindeer and horses.
