Sarah Lodato – Meet this Maker!
Sarah has been sewing for 10 years and counting, but her love for craft doesn’t stop at fabric. She indulges in paper crafts when she’s not sewing, and has a knack for bypassing patterns and creating things by sight.
Gina Livingston – Meet this Maker!
Gina just moved to Atlanta and loves to sew, knit, crochet, her husband and Vietnamese food. She is also an artist with a studio in West Midtown. She is excited to teach you the skills you need to go out into the world and create!
Thomas Lodato
Thomas James Lodato has a life-long relationship with crafting and making. As a child, Thomas’ favorite activity was taking apart clocks and electronics. In middle school, he learned how to hand sew, and has grown his skills to maintain his clothing and impress his wife. Often the only man at craft gatherings, he enjoys artistic embroidery and anatomical felting. As a designer and PhD student at Georgia Tech, Thomas often employs a craft-oriented approach to digital technology. Thomas teaches classes in Mancraft and Interdisciplinary Crafting.
Nell has been knitting for over 40 years, and has extensive experience teaching knitting. She has a huge library of patterns she has designed herself, and when she’s not knitting she likes to support the robust artist/crafting community in Atlanta.
